I like noticing things. Why something’s built the way it is, how people actually behave in a room, what a hill road looks like when nobody’s on it. So I go and find out. Somewhere I haven’t been, something I’m not good at yet.

Wall-E energy
Robots at Kharagpur, and since then anything with screws in it. I jailbreak things that were working perfectly well, put operating systems on machines that never asked for them, and have spent a fair amount of time finding out what a router will tell you if you’re patient. I like knowing what’s underneath — once you do, most things will bend.
Lost on purpose
Bengaluru to Goa, to Udupi, to Sriharikota. Delhi to Meghalaya, and fourteen days to get across it. In between, whatever hill is close enough to walk up. I’ve never taken a guide and I’ve never once regretted a wrong turn.
Space Jam
Basketball since class six and I’ve never really stopped. Badminton crept in because the court was closer, and now it’s a whole thing. There’s a barbell for the days neither is available, and two animals who contribute nothing and appear anyway.
MasterChef, allegedly
The fastest feedback loop I have. It works, or you can taste that it didn’t, and nobody at the table is polite about which.
